DAY 1

Beginning at 10:45 a.m. Depart from Uyuni towards the Train Cemetery, 10 minutes away from the town. The small town of Colchani is like the entry gate to the Salt flats, where local people exploit Salt manually and likewise, you can also buy salt made handcraft - Uyuni Salt Flats are about 10.582 km2. The salt crust is 6 to 10 meters deep, becoming the biggest salt layer around the world, about 10 million tons of Salt (sodium chloride), lithium, boron, magnesium, potassium, strontium, etc. - Salt Hotel, first hotel build with salt adobes. You will be able to see the Stars Reflection on the Salt Flats, known as Milky Way. These impressive scenarios can be appreciated where there is water concentrated. This is a very popular place for tourists because you can take extraordinary pictures of the sunset and Stars reflections and sunrise.
